Stuart Strickland has devoted his working life, now spanning in excess of 33 years, working in the financial services sector, with the last 19 years helping his clients make the most of their money and achieve their financial goals. Over the years, Stuart has worked for some of the most recognised High Street banks and Financial Services companies gaining numerous qualifications, culminating in becoming an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the industry achievement as a Chartered Financial Planner.
In 2012, Stuart identified that he could provide clients with a better service and the best possible advice by setting up his own Practice, becoming a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management as part of the process. Now, as the Principal of Strickland Wealth Management, he promotes the development of building relationships with individuals and business clients, helping them to secure the financial futures for themselves and their families through the breadth of wealth management and financial planning services that he can offer.
After a successful career with Lloyds Banking Group as a Financial Adviser and Regulated Area Manager, Jo has a wealth of experience in building trusted relationships and providing excellent service through face-to-face financial solutions for her clients.
Jo recently re-qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2015 by enrolment on a rigorous and in-depth training programme through St. James's Place Next Generation Academy. As a Advising Principal in Strickland Wealth Management, Jo is passionate about providing personal, holistic and bespoke advice to her clients and building long-term relationships in their ever-expanding Practice.
Gaenor has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years. Beginning her career as an administrator for a West Midlands based mortgage advice firm, Gaenor later became an Administration Branch Manager, leading a team of administrators processing mortgage, protection, investment and pension business.
Gaenor has worked for a commercial finance brokerage as a personal assistant to the Managing Director, liaising with high street bank commercial lending managers and financial providers, processing commercial finance and retail product applications.
In 1989, Gaenor established her own Independent Financial Services firm, comprising a team of independent financial advisers, paraplanners, researchers and administrators. Gaenor held responsibilities for Practice management, compliance liaison, client liaison, Financial Conduct Authority reporting, income reconciliation, recruitment and administration processing. She developed systems and procedures to ensure streamlined, compliant and cost effective processes, to the benefit of both the firm and its advisers.
In 2013, Gaenor sold her firm to a national PLC and now shares her experience with Joanne and Stuart, supporting Strickland Wealth Management as Practice Manager.
Following a career in Media and Advertising, more latterly, Gill has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 10 years. She has a wealth of experience in financial services administration, including income reconciliation, client and provider liaison, data management, utilising various industry based CRM systems, credit control and financial management.
Gill has many years’ experience with UK and international banking processing, and in her former roles, has held key responsibilities for banking and finance on behalf of company directors and international companies and associations.
Gill enjoys a challenge, and was recently “dispatched” from Penryn Quarry, Snowdonia, via the longest and fastest zip wire in Europe.
